Joanna has an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University with an MBA from the CU Leeds School of Business. She previously served 11 years on the board of the Blue River Watershed Group with 8 years as President, while working on water education and river enhancement projects throughout the Blue River watershed. Joanna contends that “Water is the new gold, especially in Colorado.” She has also been on the board of several homeowners’ associations as well as the President of a metropolitan district, further adding to her familiarity with the inner workings of community development. Currently, she serves as Vice President of the EagleVail metropolitan district.
Additionally, Joanna is the proud wife to husband Kevin and devoted mother to two alpine racing student athletes. Winters consist of shuttling their children around the mountain region with several pairs of skis, while summers include trail running, mountain biking, and enjoying the fantastic Colorado mountain weather.
