We had seen some of her listings on-line and contacted her to help us purchase a vacation condo in Summit County. We felt Lori's experience and knowledge of the Summit County market was reason enough to list with her. But we also got the added benefit of some very smart business decisions she and her husband have made over the years in that they ran such a successful real estate business that larger companies felt it was a good financial risk for them to partner with the Mitchells and grow the business even more. This provided Lori with a larger arsenal of marketing tools and, of course, a larger budget with which to market. As we said, all this was a bonus as we already had full confidence in Lori's ability to market and sell our property. The day she listed our property, we received a good strong offer within six hours of it hitting the market. We accepted that offer and closed a little over three weeks later! It is important to note, even though we had an offer and essentially her job was done, Lori still went above and beyond to insure this deal closed. Once the inspection was done, there were a couple of small items that needed to be repaired. Lori not only found the professionals to do the repairs, she booked the repair times and then she went to our condo and waited while the repairs were done. She didn't have to do this but that is the type of service she likes to offer her clients. She is very hands on and likes to make sure she has done everything she possibly can to help you purchase your property or get it sold. " First, please understand that this is a Completely Unsolicited testimony for Stewart Voutour and Slifer Smith & Frampton. We listed our 4000 sq ft. home with another agency based on location, thinking logistically it would be a better fit for showings, general info etc. etc. After just short of a year, unnecessary problems, and several failed contracts, we kept asking ourselves, "why didn't we choose SSF again?". Having several transactions with them through the years, including the purchase of this house, we immediately called SSF, spoke with another agent (not Stewart), told him what we needed, and he said- "I know who you need, it's not me, and he'll call you today or tomorrow- thanks for calling". 30 minutes later Stewart called and "the rest" is history. To definitely summarize "the rest", Stewart persistently drove traffic to our house in any way he could. He knew and told us from the start he would sell this house- and decreasing the price was not the answer. He eloquently kept buyers thinking about our house, constantly pointing out its great features; weeks would pass and the same buyers would still be interested, still coming back to look.On two different occasions he showed our house to buyers already working with other agents- he could have easily pushed them back to their agent, not troubled himself, and made them wait to see it- but he didn't. Stewart was always about us, selling our house, getting people who wanted to see it in immediately, and most importantly, doing whatever it took (i.e. work). As closing approached, it was again Super Stewart who made things happen that we couldn't; we were never told "I'll get there when I can" as we were. You could easily say he's a one man team. Oh, did I mention after all these days (on the market), he finalized our deal amidst TWO buyers, driving the price higher!! " When Patricia and I first started looking for a new home, we were a bit scattered to say the least. We weren’t quite sure where we would buy or when. We were a bit choosy and we were also trying to start a family. As a result our search was spread out over 2-3 years and over a 30-40 mile radius, looking at one lakefront property 30 minutes east of Dallas, several different neighborhoods in the city itself, and finally settling in Richardson just north of Dallas. We would sometimes go months without wanting to look at anything at all. We told her initially we wanted a home that was move in ready, then I called her one day to go look at a place that would have been a major renovation project. At times we would call her spur of the moment to see a new listing---in a very competitive market where homes were going fast---and Cristine was always able to accommodate us. We were “all over the map”, to use a cliché, both figuratively and literally. Cristine was not only incredibly patient through this process, but also was a great listener and flexible when we chose to move in directions we never anticipated. Throughout this process at one point I told Cristine, “We might just not move at all, we like where we are at in many ways”. This was after looking at homes on several occasions with her over a huge radius and making an offer on one home in the process. She was understanding and did not pressure us in the least. We took a break from looking for a home and prepared for the arrival of our daughter. Finally through the lengthy process, the timing was finally right and we found a home we have been extremely pleased with. We wanted to move fast on selling our townhome as we also worked to close on our new place. Cristine was able to make all of this happen for us, and helped us to find a buyer before we even had officially listed our townhome on the market. She also gave me a gentle nudge to make a counter offer on our townhome when I was a bit emotional and wanted to walk away from an offer I wasn’t happy with.
