About Maria

Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Maria Teodoru comes from a large family of Croatian descent. Maria studied at Rutgers University and graduated with a BA in Psychology. Maria moved to Colorado in 1995 and fell in love with the easy paced lifestyle.

In 1999, Maria moved to Breckenridge to build her future in the mountains. Maria pursued a career in Property Management for 7 years with East West Partners, a sister company of Slifer Smith & Frampton. This gave her a background in HOAs, budgets, homecare programs, reservations, revenue streams, and most importantly, interaction with owners.

Maria decided to pursue Real Estate and in 2005 joined Slifer Smith & Frampton. In her first year as a broker with SSF, Maria was awarded the Best New Agent Rising Star Award. Continuing with her successes, she was named to the Development Team for Mountain Thunder Townhomes and the Luxury Development Team for Vail Resorts at One Ski Hill Place.

Being an incredibly compassionate and motivated person, Maria loves to spend time with her family, especially her son Luka. When she is not helping her clients, you can find her enjoying the outdoors. She has completed several local and international marathons. Selling Real Estate, trail and road running, cross country skiing, hiking, cooking or watching NFL football, Maria lives life in Breckenridge to the fullest.
