I was born and raised in New England and have lived and worked in a variety of resort locations both in the U.S. and internationally including: Maui, Hilton Head Island, the Caribbean, and Palm Beach. My wife, Debby, and I relocated to Keystone from Miami, FL in 2008 to enjoy the unique mountain lifestyle that can only be found in the Colorado Rockies. From skiing to mountain biking, from fly fishing to hiking - Keystone is unequaled in quality and its variety of vacation adventures.
I've been a licensed real estate broker in several states for over 30 years. During my career, I have managed the marketing and sale of over $1.5 billion of real estate assets including: all types of residential products, fractionals and timeshares, hotels, commercial properties and undeveloped land. And as a nationally registered, actively licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, I can also help you navigate the process of obtaining a mortgage loan, explain what best fits your personal needs, and how to proceed in the buying process. Here in Summit County, I've helped clients ranging from first-time home buyers using USDA financing, to clients involved in transactions of many millions of dollars.
I received my B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University and my M.B.A. degree, with distinction, from Harvard Business School. I obtained an M.S.A. degree from The George Washington University and attended Boston College and Suffolk University Law Schools. And I have an extensive background running and turning around companies involved in large-scale resort, recreational and residential community development and operations.
With this combination of experience and education, I offer my clients a level of analysis and knowledge of the resort real estate industry that most brokers can’t bring to the table. What to buy and when to buy are fundamental questions each client grapples with, but deeper analyses ranging from renting one's property to defray carrying costs or establishing fractional interests to maximize a property's investment potential are areas of expertise that I bring to my clients during the buying process.
