Because of the personal nature of the information required by the utility companies, we at Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate, LLC cannot transfer utilities for our clients.
Buyers and Sellers should handle all utility changeovers prior to closing as serious property damage may result if heat or electric service are interrupted for any length of time.
Buyers, please be aware that you will need insurance coverage for your property. If you have purchased a condominium, the Association will have a master policy, but you will need a rider for personal property and liability.
Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate, LLC is not responsible for insurance coverage or the transfer of the above utilities. If we can be of any assistance, however, please don't hesitate to let us know. We appreciate your cooperation in accomplishing a smooth transition between owners. |
