Halloween is right around the corner, don’t miss these awesome Summit County events to celebrate the spookiest time of the year!

Breckoween Pub Crawl

Saturday, October 27th ~ Breckenridge

Throw on your best costume and get ready for a day-long event of Halloween bar-hopping fun! Head over to Blue Stag Saloon anytime from 11:30am-2pm to register, then enjoy drink specials from participating bars including Bold, Gold Pan Saloon, Motherloaded Tavern, RMU and more! Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or online in advance. Advance ticket holders get a free beer at check -in!

A Magical Wizarding Dinner

Wednesday, October 31st ~ Breckenridge

Calling all Harry Potter fans! Modis in Breckenridge will be transforming the restaurant into a Hogwarts wonderland and offering a specialty menu featuring snacks, entrees, desserts, and potions for all ages. Dinner seating will begin at 5pm and the last seating will be taken at 8:30. At 9:45 there will be a special “gathering of death eaters” (21+) and specialty snacks and cocktails will be served.

Nightmare at the Museum

Friday, October 26th ~ Frisco

Take an eerie after hours tour of the museum! During this free event you’ll get the chance to explore each building of the park by lantern from 6-8pm. Those attending are encouraged to wear Gothic and Victorian attire.

Cemetery Tour

Friday, October 26th ~ Frisco

Meet at the Frisco Historic Park & Museum at 7pm to begin a guided walk towards the cemetery. The tour will make a couple of stops along the way and eventually reach its final destination, where participants will be greeted by a handful of costumed characters that will bring to life the stories of the Frisco Cemetery and its inhabitants. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or night of at the Frisco Historic Museum.

Zombie Walk

Friday, October 26th ~ Frisco

Put on your best zombie attire for this pub crawl down Frisco Main Street! Tickets are $10 for one drink, $15 for two and $30 for five and can be purchased online or night of at the Frisco Historic Museum.

Trick or Treat on Main Street

Wednesday, October 31st ~ Frisco

Businesses up and down Frisco Main Street will be stocking up on candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters from 6-8pm Halloween night. All businesses participating will hang a bright orange jack-o-lantern outside.  Cartoons will be playing in the Historic Park Log Chapel for little feet needing a rest. Slifer’s Frisco office loves participating in this event every year, so be sure to stop by with your little ones for some sweet treats!

Halloween Concert and Costume Contest at A-Basin

Saturday, October 27th ~ Arapahoe Basin

Put on your Halloween Costume and come on down to A-Basin on October 27th for a day of music and Halloween fun! Live music will be playing from 12-3pm and at 2:15 prizes will be awarded to best costumes. Learn more about the event here.

Pumpkin Carving Competition

Registration: Friday, October 19th ~ Silverthorne     Event: Tuesday, October 23rd ~ Silverthorne

This event will be held at Angry James Brewery in Silverthorne. Must compete in teams of two and pay a $15 fee which gets you a pumpkin, carving tools and 2 beverages. Must register in the taproom on or before Friday, October 19th.

Halloween Bowling Party

Friday, October 27th ~ Dillon

Enjoy an all-day Halloween celebration and a costume contest with cash prizes! They will be serving $2 PBR drafts from 11am to 6pm and a live DJ will perform from 8:30pm to close.
