Hard to believe that the official end of summer is just around the corner! Soak up the warm, sunny days with Labor Day fun around the county.
Kicks up your heels and raise a stein with Colorado-brewed Oktoberfest beers from New Belgium, oompah bands and German fare that will make your mouth water. Keystone’s Oktoberfest kicks off on Friday, September 1 with a Brats, Belgians and Brews dinner and continues through Saturday, September 2 in River Run Village.
Gather along the Blue River across from the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center for the 30th annual Great Rubber Duck Race on Saturday, September 2. This family favorite event is the Summit Foundation’s largest fundraiser and raises more than $100,000 annually. The Summit Foundation distributes grants to local nonprofit organizations, as well as providing scholarships to local high school graduates pursuing post-secondary education.
Don’t forget to check out the Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival as well. This event, from Saturday, September 2 through Monday, September 4, features over 100 exceptional artists on display.
Put on your cowboy boots and settle in for free live music, kids activities and an art festival at Copper Country from Friday, September 1 through Sunday, September 3.
